Another option is biofuels, which involves the use of energy from organic materials to replace the role of fossil fuels. Ethanol is perhaps the most widely used of these, especially in Brazil and the United States, and is used most commonly as a mixture with regular fuel. Another type of biofuel is biodiesel, which is made from vegetable oils or animal oils or. It is actually possible with current technology to take the fat from the grill at McDonalds and recycle it into usable fuel! As with ethanol, which can be used exclusively on their own but is only a supplement to be added to another fuel. It is currently the most common biofuel in Europe.
